Ewing (Ewing's Landing)
Originally a steamboat landing on the Missouri River in the Liberty Township. Following the completion of the Pacific Railroad to Jefferson City and the ensuing collapse of the Lower Missouri River Packet services the community moved inland, centered on a site near the railroad. Ewing was never platted and little is known about the community. |
